SPOTTED @ Target: 2-Pack Mascaras and More Holiday Sets!

So, usually around this time (i.e. the start of holiday shopping season), Target has these 2-packs of mascara, eyeliners, etc. for practically the price of one.  I love to get these because they're such good deals! Well, guess what I saw in one of my recent trips to Target??

I'm sorry, I forgot to make note of all the prices.  But I do remember that the Baby Lips sets are $5.99 and the mascara sets are all $9 something (I want to say $9.99, but I'm not 100% on that).  I'm thinking of getting one of the Maybelline Plush mascara set, because I want to try it.  The only problem is, if I don't like it...I'm stuck with two!  Has anyone tried it before?  Would you recommend it?  

Then, I spotted another ELF nail polish set, at the bottom of the above display.  I don't know why it was separated from the other ELF holiday stuff...but this one is 14 mini nail polishes for $10.

And lastly, I also spotted some Burt's Bees holiday gift sets:

I think these are packaged really nicely, and quite affordable.  I don't remember all the pricing but I do remember the sets on the top shelf, which include soap, loofa, lip balm, sugar scrub, and lotion, are $19.99 (I think).  The lip balm + cuticle balm sets (2nd shelf) and the 3-pack shimmer balm sets (3rd row, right side) are $4.99.  And the set on the far left side of the 4th shelf is a "Head to Toe" set and is $12.99.  

Lots of options!  I personally haven't started Christmas shopping, but seeing all these holiday sets coming out is making me excited for the season!  This is probably my most favorite time of the year. xD

SPOTTED: Sinful Colors Holiday Shimmers (Holiday 2012)

I stopped by Rite Aid last week and look what I found!  It's the Sinful Colors Holiday collection!  This one is all sparkly goodness, I think.  I can't be too sure because the display was kind of picked over, so there are some shades that I'm not sure about, if they're supposed to be part of the collection or not.  But let's get to the pictures!

I know Queen of Beauty is part of the permanent display, so I'm not really sure if that one was part of this collection or someone just decided to misplace it there.  And I think Frenzy might be permanent too.  But there's two here, so it's probably part of the collection.  I wouldn't be surprised since Sinful Colors has repromoted permanent colors in "new" collections before.  The rest are new and limited edition, I think.  All are pretty, but the one that really stood out to me was Faceted, even though I don't really like bar glitter.  Faceted just looked so pretty, and the bar glitter is multichrome glitter, so that kind of made up for it.  :P  You can probably guess, I left Rite Aid with Faceted in hand.  Swatches should be up either tomorrow or Friday, when I get time to photograph. :)

In addition to Faceted, I was also interested in Nova, Winter Wonder, and Dazzle.  I'm hoping to stop by Walgreens this week and see if they have this collection out yet, since they're having a $0.99 sale on Sinful Colors again.  

Of note: if you own China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara, you might want to skip Ice Dream.  When I saw it, I immediately thought it could be a dupe for Lorelei's Tiara.  But, if you're lemming Lorelai's Tiara and have had no luck finding it, you might want to check this one out!  

SPOTTED @ Target: Holiday 2012 ELF & Kardashian Kolors

So I spotted some Holiday displays over the weekend at one of the Targets near me.  First up is ELF!

The ELF collection looks to have some new stuff and their palettes have had a bit of a makeover.  I was pretty interested in the nail polish set on the fourth shelf, to the right.  I haven't tried any ELF polishes yet, and this look like it had a good mixture:

Sorry for the blurry pic!  Took this in a rush with my phone.  But anyway, this set is called Necessary Nails and comes with 15 nail polishes (that are supposed to be essential, I guess).  They have light and dark colors; something for everyone.  This set retails for $15. 

Next up is the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors Holiday 2012 collection:

They had this on a back endcap, by the rest of the nail polish.  I think some of the colors are pretty, but I don't get too much of a holiday vibe from this.  There's a bit of a mix in the finishes, with a couple cremes, some frosty ones, glitters, and even maybe a duochrome!  But mostly these are glitters, which isn't a bad things.  Here are some close ups of the bottles:

I'm unsure whether they're all Kardashian Kolors, because the Kardashian related names stop after Deck the Dolls (the blue one), and actually A Gold Winter's Night isn't really Kardashian related either.  So some of these might be just be part of the regular Nicole by OPI line's holiday collection.  But anyway, yeah...the ones that interested me most were All is Glam, All is Bright and A Gold Winter's Night.  They look really pretty!  And also Kardashian Through the Snow, because I don't have a multi-colored glitter yet and this looks like it might be a good one.  Here's even more of a close up of these bottles:

The Nicole by OPI polishes retail for $7.04 at Target.  I've only spotted these at one Target, which is the one further from me.  The Target closer to me doesn't have any Holiday stuff yet.  (I feel like it's always the last one to get stuff.)  So not all Targets have this yet, but be on the lookout if you're interested in any of these, especially if you want some of the ELF stuff.  As you can see from the picture, it's already been picked over quite a bit!  Let me know if you get anything~ :)

I'm so excited to have spotted these.  Holiday collections are some of my favorites!  Can't wait for the rest to start showing up! ^^

SPOTTED: NEW Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipsticks & a Coupon

So when I was at Ulta yesterday, buying my Butter London polishes, I spotted a new display from Revlon.  I could tell it was new because it was still full, lol.  But also because I hadn't heard much about this product before and hadn't seen any swatches, unlike when the lip butters came out.

Doesn't Oliva Wilde look gorgeous?  The color she's wearing is so perfect for fall!  I really love it and was so tempted to buy it!   But these are $9.99 each at Ulta, which is kinda pricey to me for a drugstore lipstick. I'm going to wait on reviews and swatches (and a good sale) before I decide to buy any.  But the ones I kept reaching for were Backstage, which is the one Olivia is wearing, Socialite, Fashionista, and Front Row.  I also liked Couture, Runway and Muse.

Also, I spotted a coupon at Ulta for Revlon:

There was a display of Revlon Lip Butters and Kissable Balm Stains up by the registers that had this $1 off coupon.  I think it's good only on those items, which unfortunately Ulta is not having a sale on this week.  But it doesn't expire until January, so you can save it for a week when Ulta does have Revlon on sale. :)

SPOTTED: Sinful Colors Fall Fairy Tale Enchanted Collection (Fall 2012)

So I've been on the hunt for the Barely Beige Color Tattoo from the Maybelline Scene on the Runway limited edition collection.  I know, I know...I'm a bit late hunting for them now.  But I didn't think I was going to get them.  That changed over the course of time, as I saw more and more swatches.  Anyway, long story short, I haven't found it yet!  It seems to be sold out everywhere.

However, I did spot something new at Rite Aid!  The Sinful Colors Fall collection called Fall Fairy Tale: Enchanted.

Inkwell looks to a be a purple-black color, Muse is a dusty gray-purple color that has become very common, Smokin' looks to be a straight up concrete gray color, and Rainstorm is a dusty blue color.

Last Chance is a dark forest green color, In the Mist is a dusty gray-green color, Mesmerize is a dusty blurple (blue-purple), and Jungle Trail is a light gray-putty color.

All of the polishes seem to be creme finishes.  As you can tell from my color descriptions, a lot of the colors have dusty and/or grayish quality to them, which I like.  But I don't think the colors are overly unique, and I didn't pick anything up this time around.  However, I am thinking about going back for In the Mist and Mesmerize.  Also, Last Chance and Rainstorm are repromotes.  The rest are new, I think.  

Ok, actually, I picked up Rainstorm from Walgreens yesterday.  But that was before I found out about this collection, so that doesn't technically count as picking something up from this one. :P  It was part of my big SC Walgreens haul (yay 99 cent sale!), and I'll have swatches of it up soon!

SPOTTED: New Maybelline Products - Color Tattoo by Eyestudio

So the end of the year means a lot of products for the upcoming year!  I've been following Nouveau Cheap to get the scoop on new collections, and I'm really interested in the cream shadows that the drugstore brands are coming out with now.  I'm wondering if it'll be a cheaper alternative to MAC paint pot.  However, I'm looking for a Painterly type color and have yet to see a neutral/skintone colored one...so we'll see?

Anyway, I have spotted the L'Oreal Infallible display at Target, though it was almost empty.  I did manage to pick one up and will hopefully be able to do a post on it soon.  And today I spotted a big endcap display at CVS holding a bunch of new Maybelline products!

In this display there is a new mascara, new brow pencil in 3 colors, a new liquid liner (?), eye color tattoo in 10 colors, and new Super Stay lip products (lipstick and lip stain).  I didn't really get a close up look at everything, because I was just quickly passing through CVS, so not sure about colors and everything.  I was most interested in the Color Tattoo by Eyestudio.

It claims to be a 24-hour gel cream shadow and, like mentioned, it comes in 10 shades.  I was tempted to pick up the taupe one, but decided not to since I hadn't read any reviews on it yet.

What do you think?  Will you be trying any of these new products out?  

I'm curious to see how these Color Tattoos compare to the Infallible Eyeshadows!

SPOTTED: Revlon Edgy Elegance Polish Display

I was at Rite Aid earlier today, and spotted this display.  It looked like they had just finished putting out, because they still had a sheet of paper out that showed how to display the nail polish.  So I guess this is another new display from Revlon!  It's called Edgy Elegance, and contains 8 new shades plus a quick dry top coat.  The polishes look like they are all shimmers, and some might even have a foil finish.

These polishes look gorgeous, and I was so excited when I spotted them!  But then again, I'm always excited with new nail polish releases, haha!  I wish I had taken close ups of each bottle, but I was in a bit of a rush, so I just snapped these few pictures.  I didn't even pick up any for myself, and I love Revlon polishes!  Maybe I'll go back later, and try to get close ups. ^^  If I do, I'll definitely edit this post with them.

My favorites are Fierce, Princess, and Catty.
